Huawei announced its partnership with Power Control Ltd. at this year’s Huawei Enterprise CeBIT 2016 in Hannover on March 17th 2016.

The partnership was officially confirmed at a signing ceremony in the presence of executives from both companies.

In order to realise its vision of “enriching life and improving efficiency through a better connected world”, Huawei integrates carbon reduction and environment protection ideas into its product lifecycle and continuously develops innovative technologies to boost the energy efficiency of its products and solutions.

The rapid development of cloud computing has increased the demands on power supply for critical ICT infrastructures, such as servers and switches. To address these requirements, Huawei has developed modular UPS systems (UPS5000-S series) with high efficiency (up to 97.5%), high density, and high availability to reduce the reliance on power grids and avoid loss of customers’ core business data.

UK based Power Control is Huawei’s appointed Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) and modular data centre channel partner in the UK. Power Control’s extensive product and service experience within the power protection industry complements Huawei’s commitment to becoming a global ICT energy efficiency expert. This great synergy between the two companies will bring invaluable benefits to customers from various industries, including data centres, government, and healthcare sectors.
