Leading power protection specialist Power Control Ltd is now offering the 1.2MW smart integrated UPS and PDU integrated solution from Huawei Technologies Co Ltd.

Designed specifically for large data centres, the FusionPower5000 has been manufactured to minimise footprint and deliver significant OPEX savings. With over £million invested in research and development, the FusionPower5000 has already been hailed as the most reliable and efficient of its kind across Europe.

Launched in the UK at the largest data centre event in country, Data Centre World, the FusionPower5000 has already been specified for over 100 projects. One of its main draws is its easy, rapid installation. A complete parallel solution can be delivered, installed and commissioned within four months thanks to its sophisticated bus bar connectivity.

Reliability of the FusionPower5000 is assured through the integration of the Huawei iBatt, which intelligently monitors the performance of systems, giving total visibility over any vulnerable parts. In addition, each power cabinet is configured with input and output breakers to isolate any problems.

Commenting on the new FusionPower5000, Power Control’s solutions director Rob Mather commented: “We have been supporting Huawei’s modular UPS solutions since 2016 and have been thoroughly impressed with their technology. They are not only built to the highest manufacturing standards but also demonstrate superior performance, whilst presenting up to the minute specifications such as small footprint, high efficiency, enhanced usability and extended expansion capacity.

“We are confident that our expertise and experience within the power protection market will enable us to very effectively position this latest Huawei solution as the number one integrated UPS choice in the UK.”

With almost three decades of industry experience, Power Control has aligned itself with some of the world’s greatest manufacturers and project specialists. It is these partnerships that have helped the business become one of the fastest growing UPS companies in the UK.

Power Control maintains a high level of engineering involvement across all projects, which is delivered through its all encompassing service and maintenance programmes and high UPS and product spares stock levels. The company also receives invaluable direct manufacturing and technical backup from its partners.
