Power Control Adds ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Certification to its Accreditation Portfolio.
We are proud to announce that Power Control has recently been awarded the ISO 45001 certification for Occupational Health and Safety Management, a globally recognised standard that demonstrates our ongoing commitment to creating a safe and healthy working environment for our employees, clients, and stakeholders.
ISO 45001 is designed to help organisations proactively improve their health and safety performance by reducing workplace risks, enhancing employee wellbeing, and promoting a culture of safety throughout the business. Achieving this certification is a significant milestone for Power Control and reflects the strength of our internal processes, training, and safety procedures.
This latest achievement complements our existing certifications, ISO 9001 for Quality Management and ISO 14001 for Environmental Management.
Our ISO 9001 certification demonstrates our commitment to delivering consistent quality in our products, services, and customer experience. It ensures that our processes are continually evaluated and improved to meet client expectations and regulatory requirements. Through the implementation of ISO 9001, we can better monitor performance, streamline workflows, and foster a culture of accountability and excellence across the business.
Meanwhile, our ISO 14001 certification highlights our dedication to environmental responsibility. This standard provides a framework for managing the environmental impact of our operations and supports our goal to reduce waste, conserve resources, and operate sustainably. From improving energy efficiency to minimising our carbon footprint, ISO 14001 helps us align our environmental objectives with wider business goals.
James Sowden, Operations Manager at Power Control, commented:
"Health and safety is an integral part of our operations, and achieving ISO 45001 is a testament to the culture we’ve built at Power Control. It’s not just about compliance, it’s about creating a workplace where people feel safe, valued, and empowered to perform at their best. This certification is a proud moment for the team and underlines our commitment to delivering excellence at every level."
By aligning ourselves with international best practices, Power Control continues to demonstrate leadership in operational standards and reliability, supporting our clients across critical infrastructure, healthcare, industrial, and commercial sectors.

About The Legrand Trimod MCS
The Legrand Trimod MCS is a modular CPS system ideal for many facilities due to its small, space saving footprint. It includes features such as 120% overload capacity, IP rated cabinet, protection against battery inversion, acid-proof battery cabinets, batteries with back feed protection and all the necessary technology to support life safety equipment.
We will also have a range of Yuasa VRLA batteries on the stand. These batteries are used in external battery cabinets to increase the runtime of a critical power supply.
During the event, the team from Power Control will be on hand to discuss these solutions and how and why it is important they meet these regulations for providing backup power to emergency lifts. The team will also be able to advise on backup power systems for standard lifts and escalators.
